Joe and the Everlasting Night

Joe & Everlasting Night

Now Is the turn to write about my second novel. It is the following story to the best seller ( Just kidding…Dreaming is free) Joe and the Black dragon Legend.
I think I hadn’t mentioned it before, but the original name to the first book was: The Prophecy : Joe and the Black Dragon Legend, but the publisher said it was too long, so they shorten it, taking out “The Prophecy”. So , as You can imagine the original name of the second book was “The Curse. Joe and The Everlasting night”. Nobody has told me to shorten it yet, but I simply did it.

To begin with. “Everlasting” is a word I love, I like the sound and meaning of it. Just by thinking of the synonyms of the word makes it even better: Endless, never-dying, perpetual, eternal, unending….There’s a lot of people that doesn’t like the night because of the darkness and that just stand it because at the end, the light will come again…Darkness is related to evilness, to fear…The night is the time when people sleep and when others take advantage of the darkness and make evil things, they kill, the steal, darkness is the time where vampires are supposed to be awake…

I got this idea when I did the brain storm for the first book. Originally this was supposed to be the 4th book in the series, but it changed to be the second. It is 100 word pages longer than the first one however it took me less to write it than the first one. It took me around one year to finish it. May be the reason why I wrote it faster than the first one is that during that year, one semester I was just taking 1 class, so I had a lot of free time I used to write (Oh…Good days….)
In the first book it was time for the prophecy to be fulfilled, the chosen was born…Now is time for the curse.

In Joe and the Everlasting night the curse made by Kukulcan is about to be fulfilled. His return is marked by the darkness, a night that is going to be eternal. Not only Kukulcan could be returning to the magic World but two other feared powerful beings are about to do so; The count Darius Vlood is about to awake and Giagon is about to be freed. Joe is just getting used to his magician life, but He will have to face a new challenge beyond magic...is friendship stronger than magic? Joe will realize friends can betray you, He’ll learn that love is not a game and that darkness is just the cover up for evilness now that everyday is darker and that light and hope is extinguishing …New and old friends, more magic, laughter and tension is what you’ll find out in this new adventure….

I imagine the cover more or less like the one I uploaded. But I would like to see the shadow of a bat on the moon.
